Annette Soo

Annette is a Malaysian working in Singapore. She does corporate restructuring work, something she describes as “isn’t always a pleasant thing to behold”. Her sister, Sharon, introduced her to OXYGEN in 2011. She has found it “very encouraging, very comforting” to know that there are people out there who shared similar experiences as she did, and made it possible to put it in the context of God’s words.

Some time back while she was in a bit of a personal dilemma, she made a promise to God that if He delivered her from it, she would write about it. He did, and she is keeping her end of the bargain by making use of her God-given gifts. She hopes that in sharing her personal experiences with others, and God’s place and plan in it all. She hopes that people will be able to relate to her experiences as well, and that by writing, she would be able to draw closer to God, to know how to be still and listen, and to increase her faith in Him.

  1. Thank you for your beautiful thoughts and insight. I try to read Oxygen daily at work before I start my day. This along with Scripture gets me through each day.

    May God bless you

  2. Hi Anthony, thank you for your support and encouragement. It helps to know that our reflections reach out and touch our readers. Even if it makes a difference to only one, it is still a difference. Oxygen has helped me in many ways and I’m glad it helps you too. I give thanks to God for inspiring me to write something that has touched you in some way, and I give thanks to Him for your encouragement. Thank you for reading!

  3. Dear Annette,

I read your reflection today and can identify with the situation you are in. It may not be the same circumstance but I wanted to assure you that with prayer and total surrender – He will lead you.

I am happy to share my story with you. You have my email… drop me a line:)
