Paul was born into a family of free thinkers and was sent to live with his grandaunt, who was a Taoist. He lived with her until the age of 31, when he got married and moved out.
While he was not baptised, Paul had exposure to the Catholic faith as he was educated in Catholic schools, from kindergarten to junior college.
Paul was first introduced to the Church when a good friend regularly spent time with him before attending mass and singing in the choir. After a few months, the friend suggested Paul join him in the choir. He was baptised about 3 years later, in 1985.
Paul was closely involved in various church ministries but it was until 2016 after he attended the Conversion Experience Retreat (CER) at the Catholic Spirituality Centre (CSC) that his relationship with God became much more intimate. There has been no turning back since.
Contributing to Oxygen has been a journey, and it is often through reflecting and writing that many revelations of His love have been shown to him. What started out as a service to others has become a gift from God.
Paul runs his own mortgage consultancy, and is also closely involved in other businesses such as internet marketing and is also Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a startup.
